A tourist has three ways to get online in Morocco: roaming with the home carrier, a local SIM bought on arrival, or an eSIM installed before departure. Here is what each costs, using prices read on each provider's own website.
1. Roaming with your home carrier
Morocco is outside the EU roaming zone and outside most "Europe" add-ons, so it is billed separately. Some examples:
- UK: EE charges £8 per 24 hours or £40 for 7 days in its Zone 2; Vodafone and Three charge between £6 and £8 a day depending on the plan (read 22 September 2026).
- US: T-Mobile sells International Passes at $5 for 1 day (512 MB), $50 for 10 days (15 GB) and $75 for 30 days (30 GB) (read 22 September 2026).
- France: without a pass, Orange bills 13.31 € per MB and Bouygues 10.24 € per MB; Free Mobile's Max plan includes Morocco data since March 2026 (read 27 August 2026).
- Spain: without a bundle, Movistar charges 12.10 € per MB (read 27 August 2026); Orange Spain's Destinos Plus pass is 9 € per 24 hours for 3 GB (read 22 September 2026).
Check your own plan before you fly: some plans include Morocco, and without a pass a few minutes of browsing can cost more than a week of any other option.
2. A local SIM card
Morocco's three operators (Maroc Telecom, Orange Maroc and inwi) sell prepaid SIMs. At Orange Maroc the SIM costs 20 MAD (with 20 MAD of credit) and internet recharges run from 50 to 1,000 MAD for 500 MB to 200 GB, valid for up to 30 days (Orange Maroc's own site, read 23 September 2026).
It is the cheapest option per gigabyte, with three trade-offs: you buy it in Morocco with your passport (prepaid lines are registered to an ID document), your phone must be unlocked, and on a single-SIM phone you lose your home number while it is in.
3. A travel eSIM
Our plans are sold by duration. Every plan gives 1 GB a day at full 4G/5G speed, then 512 Kbps until the daily reset, with no total cap:

For comparison, on their own Morocco pages on 22–23 September 2026, Holafly charged €28.90 for 7 days and Airalo €31.50 for its 7-day unlimited plan. Saily was cheaper than us at 10 days (€31.99) and 15 days (€43.49), and Maya Mobile lists lower prices in US dollars ($19.99 for 7 days). We are the cheapest of the euro-priced unlimited plans at 5 and 7 days, not at every length.
Which one?
- Your plan already includes Morocco: use it.
- A trip of up to two weeks, online the moment you land, no shop visit: an eSIM.
- A long stay with heavy data use, an unlocked phone and time on arrival: a local SIM.
