Maya Mobile does not sell a Morocco plan: it sells one global unlimited plan, valid in Morocco and, according to its page, in more than 165 countries, at the same price everywhere. We sell the opposite: plans made for Morocco, paid once. We may as well say it straight away: on price alone, Maya Mobile is cheaper than we are. Here are the numbers, then what differs between the two.
Prices, length by length
The Maya Mobile Morocco page we read shows US dollar prices. We sell in euros and convert nothing.

Even counting one dollar as one euro, which flatters our prices, Maya Mobile stays cheaper: 9.99 dollars against 14 euros for 3 days, 19.99 dollars against 24 euros for 7 days, 49.99 dollars against 79 euros for 30 days. Maya Mobile sells 14 days for 27.99 dollars; our closest length is 15 days, at 45 euros.
Maya Mobile sells no 1-day, 5-day or 10-day plan: its page offers 3, 7, 14 and 30 days.
What really differs between the two
- Renewal. Maya Mobile's page says the plan “auto-renews while Travel Mode is on” and that it can be turned off at any time. Our plans never renew: you pay once, for one length, and nothing is charged afterwards. If you take Maya Mobile, remember to turn that mode off when you get home.
- Currency. Maya Mobile charges in dollars on the page we read; our prices are in euros. Whichever is not your own currency, your bank applies its rate and sometimes a fee.
- A global plan or a Morocco plan. If your trip crosses several countries, one global plan saves buying an eSIM per country. If you are only going to Morocco, with us you pay for Morocco only.
- The speed rule. Maya Mobile writes “no caps, no throttling”. Our rule is written down: 1 GB a day at full speed, then 512 Kbps. Read Maya Mobile's terms before counting on a constant speed.
What an eSIM Maroc plan includes
- 1 GB a day at full 4G/5G speed, then 512 Kbps until the allowance resets 24 hours later. No total cap: the connection is never cut.
- Hotspot allowed, for a laptop or a travel companion's phone.
- Data only: no Moroccan phone number. Your usual line stays active for calls and texts.
- QR code sent by email, with no app to install and no account to create.
- Starts on the first connection in Morocco, so you can install it at home on Wi-Fi before you leave.
- Seven lengths, from one day to one month.
Which one for your trip?
- You want the lowest price and do not mind a subscription to switch off: Maya Mobile costs less than we do on 3, 7 and 30 days.
- You want to pay once, in euros, with no renewal: that is what we sell.
- You are going for 1, 5 or 10 days: Maya Mobile does not sell those lengths; we do.
- You are visiting several countries in a row: Maya Mobile's global plan has a real advantage.
