Short answer: yes, Morocco has had 5G since 7 November 2025. Orange Morocco reports 135 cities, including large urban areas and their outskirts. That does not mean 5G everywhere in those cities: Opensignal's 5G coverage scores are still under 0.5 out of 10.

Do you need 5G on a trip?
Not really. Average speed across all networks is 22.8 to 27.5 Mbps by operator, enough for maps, messages and video. Our network ranking has the details.
Our eSIM connects to Moroccan networks, and your phone picks the one available. The 1-day plan costs €6 and the 7-day plan €24, with 1 GB a day at full speed then 512 Kbps: see the plans. First check that your phone is eSIM compatible.
